just some things.

  • i just made possibly the worst cup of coffee ever. seriously. FAIL.
  • yesterday (two days ago?) was Halloween but it kinda sorta sucked balls. FAIL.
  • still don't have a job. FAIL.
  • it's now November. FAIL.
  • Katy and i were thanked in the new Otep album. WINWINWINWINWINWIN. SO MUCH MOFUCKING WIN.
  • Stolen Babies, Creature Features, Walls de Jericho at the end of the month. WIN!

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. CAITLIN I MISS YOU.

It's been so long! I've been dying without my regular Caitlin dose. Whhhhyyyy do we keep missing each other?

I've been trying to get on more lately, and I just downloaded some weird client called Fire, which logs me into everything at once (its apparently the Trillian of Macs), so I've been using that, BUT WE'RE NEVER ON AT THE SAME TIME. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?

We don't even celebrate Halloween here, so I think we win in the Fail stakes there. :P

Found a job yet? I'm having to redo my resume at the moment, because I may possibly be going for a second job just for the holidays. Which is good, because I may actually be able to save up enough to finally move out and closer to Sydney. That, or save up for a plane ticket to a little place I like to call Caitlin-opia. Or something. Yes, I'm an idiot.

How was the concert thing? I assume those were bands? It's passed, right? And why were you thanked in the album (aside from just being generally awesome)? I'm so out of the loop!

it's a conspiracy, i tell you. someone is out there plotting against us, making it so we can't talk to each other. someone extremely jealous of our lovership. probably mikaela.

i think that's so ridiculous you aussies don't celebrate halloween. when i come down, i am bringing the holiday with me.

i actually did find a job. i work at borders now (i think you have them in AU, either that or waldenbooks) but if you don't know what that is, it's a book store that also sells CDs, DVDs, magazines, etc. and has a cafe. it's pretty neat so far, everyone's been really nice. right now i'm just seasonal (meaning i only am guaranteed a job until mid January) but i'm probably going to try and become a regular.

the concert thing was pretty groovy. the first two bands played together in hollywood so we went up early and walked around hollywood blvd and did that whole touristy thing. i only realized once we got up there that i should have brought the kacie barbie. the last band played the day after thanksgiving and that was an AWESOME show, but i got kicked in the face and then punched in the nose. but it's all good.

we were thanked in the album because there was a contest where you had to film yourself passing out Otep flyers for the new CD and whoever had the best video got thanked in the album. pretty much everyone whose video was half-decent got thanked though.

Ahaha. You kill me dead in a very good way. But that was funny, since I was checking my mail while Mum was sitting next to me, and she read that and kept giving me these weird looks. Ahahaha. Legendary.

Lol, well as long as it was a good show. But my love, were you terribly injured? Tell me who I have to kill dead. Not in a good way either (I should really stop drinking Coke Zero. I have figured out that I've usually had that prior to making weird rants). DEAD.

No sound on these computers at work, so I can't watch that video just yet. Oh, and ahahah. Our work has just changed management, and I apparently just signed something without noticing the 'no internet for personal use' part. Lol, but then my supervisor was all "Just delete the cookies and history, they'll never know", which I thought was amusing, and thus, here we are!
